Weekly Honors

Merrimack's F Chris Barton is the Athletic Republic Player of the Week after a nine-point weekend (2g, 7a) in two victories - achieving a new career-high of four assists in one game Friday Night in a 4-3 win over Northeastern, followed by another career-high of five points after two goals and three assists, manhandling UMass in an 11-2 win on Saturday. Barton passed the 100-point milestone to end the weekend with a +5 rating.

UNH's F Kevin Goumas was awarded with the Pro Amtitions Rookie of the Week honor. He scored his first two collegiate goals and an assist during the weekend's sweep of Maine. On Friday, he scored the game-winning goal and an assist on Saturday night, ending the weekend with a +3 rating.

UVM's Rob Madore is once again, Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week after stopping 70 out of 72 shots for an outstanding .972 save% over the weekend against Vermont. On Friday in a 1-1 goalie's duel, Madore stopped 39 out of 40 shots, and 31 on Saturday in a huge 7-1 victory against Providence for a 3-point weekend.
