Weekly Honors - Merrimack Receiving All the Love!

Merrimack's Joe Cannata stopped 65 out of 69 shots (.942 save %) over the weekend, 38 on Saturday's 3-2 win against UNH, including 12 on the powerplay which involved a 5-on-3 four minute advantage during the weekend sweep for this week's Pro Ambitious Player of the Week honor.

Defensemen Jordan Heywood, also for Merrimack, scored the game-winner at 2:42 in overtime on Saturday against UNH for his second career goal. He also notched a career-high of three (1g, 2a) points in the 3-2 victory during the sweep, earning this week's Pro Ambitious Co-Rookie of the Week alongside Northeastern's Jamie Oleksiak who scored his first-career game-winner with 13.6 seconds left in overtime for a 3-2 win over UMass-Lowell on Friday.

Finally, this week's Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week goes to BC's John Muse who stopped 58 out of 60 shots (.966 save%), including an overtime win against BU and a shutout against Providence. He stopped 34 shots against BU, and 24 against Providence during his 11th career shutout.
