Hockey East Week 13 Awards Handed out

Maine F Brian Flynn was named Athletic Republic Player of the Week after scoring a goal (33 seconds into the third period) and an assist in Sunday's big victory over No. 3 BC, as well as an assist and two goals - one being the overtime game winner - against Providence, finishing the weekend with a +4 rating.

UMass's Freshman D Adam Phillips earned his second Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after being instrumental in scoring two power play goals (third and fourth of the freshman's season) in UMass's 4-1 victory over UMass-Lowell on Saturday. In addition to the two goals, Phillips helped UMass turn 3 of 6 chances into goals.

UVM's goaltender Rob Madore received the Pure Hockey Defensive Player of the Week after he stopped a grand total of 70 goals (0.972 sv%) over the weekend when UVM played Northeastern twice - 38 saves on Saturday when Vermont won 3-1, and 32 on Friday when Northeastern won 2-0.
