No. 3 Boston College 3, at No. 15 BU 2
BOSTON, MA - Brian Dumoulin continued his strong second half, scoring the game-winner late in the first period before BU even tallied its first goal. Chris Connolly tallied assists on both BU goals to become the only multi-point player on the night, but it wasn’t enough as John Muse turned away 30 shots - including all 14 in the third period - to record his 14th win on the season and keep the Eagles in first place.
at No. 7 UNH 4, Providence 3 (OT)
DURHAM, NH - The Wildcats struggled to keep five men on the ice, giving up two first-period power play goals and a third on Providence’s seventh shot of the game before Matt DiGirolamo closed the door and UNH came from behind again to upend the Friars, who haven’t won a Hockey East game in nearly two months. Paul Thompson scored the game-winner with 48 seconds remaining in overtime after Jeff Silengo tied it up with just over five-and-a-half minutes to play in the third.
